Built on Experience, Crafted for Real Life

After nearly a decade immersed in the luggage industry with one of the world’s biggest brands, I saw what made a truly great bag—and, more importantly, where so many fell short. Too often, even premium options sacrificed real-world function for flash, leaving busy people to wrestle with poorly designed compartments, unreliable zippers, or gear that couldn’t keep up with their actual lives.

The Spark

That frustration became the spark. Even after stepping away from the industry for a couple of years, the steady stream of requests—for reliable, high-quality bags from people and companies I'd worked with before—kept the fire burning. The final push came when one of the worlds largest automotive manufactures approached me for custom bags.

The Leap

That was it. With 100% support and encouragement from my wife, I decided to step away from everything comfortable in my life, move to Boise, Idaho, for fewer distractions, and focus on creating ZULZ.
